‘Thinking Space’ in Hall 2 is a feature area filled with innovative projects, animated discussions and groundbreaking designs.
New to ‘Thinking Space’ is a retail window design showcase, challenging furniture retailers and interiors designers to produce experimental shop window displays. Original submissions, a picture of a showroom from a retailer and a sketch of proposed shop window from a designer should be sent to justyna.sowa@ubm.com by 12th November.
A series of free seminars is a must for every forward-thinking professional. Confirmed speakers include interior designer Oliver Heath, lighting designer Sally Storey, Lloyd Princeton of Design Management Company and representatives from the Society of British Interior Design, leading design agency Blacksheep and Worldwide Fund for Nature.
The New Design Britain competition, running for the second year, will unlock the hottest young design talent. An expert panel of judges, including Marks & Spencer, House of Fraser, ACID and Evening Standard will judge the innovative designs with the winner being announced at the event.
